I am a medical student at the Baylor College of Medicine of the class of 2015. This means that I am a second year medical student, or MS2 as the lingo goes. I started off my undergraduate degree at BYU, served a 2-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Taiwan, and romance initiated a transfer to the University of Arizona where I finished my studies. I was stoked to get into BCM, and I've enjoyed medical school enough to start this site about it.
I'm still not sure what kind of medicine I want to go into, probably because so many different fields all sound interesting. On the topic of my interests, I like Chinese. I help teach a medical Mandarin class at BCM, and my wife and I started a website to teach Chinese people the American accent. That proved to be too much work... and we didn't pay the renewal fee for hosting so it's dead :-(
I am a bit unusual for my class in that I am married with two kids. It's tough to balance sometimes, but trying to be world's #1 dad and husband are my favorite and most important extracurricular activities.
